UniStyle is a text formatting tool that converts plain text into Unicode styles (bold, italic, script, vaporwave, and more) that copy-paste into Discord, Notion, X/Twitter, Slack, and other apps. All formatting is performed entirely within your browser using JavaScript — no text is ever sent to any server.
UniStyle collects no personal data. Specifically:
UniStyle stores the following data locally on your device only, using your browser's built-in storage:
localStorage (web app) or chrome.storage.local (extension) under
the key tf-favs. Never leaves your device.tf-hist so you can quickly re-use them. Never leaves your device.This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or uninstalling the extension.
The UniStyle browser extension requests the following permissions:
chrome.storage.local. Data stays on your device only.The UniStyle website may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google's ad serving may use cookies and collect data subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
The UniStyle browser extension does not display any advertisements and makes no third-party network requests.
UniStyle does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The tool contains no features directed at children and collects no personal data from any user.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way (for example, if analytics or data collection is added), the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated and the change will be noted in the extension's changelog. The current policy always lives at unistyle.io/privacy.
